How is this different from oral NAD supplements?+

Oral NAD and its precursors are largely broken down in digestion before reaching circulation. A subcutaneous injection delivers NAD+ and MOTS-c directly, avoiding first-pass metabolism entirely. It's the same reason injectable B12 is used instead of tablets in people who don't absorb well.

How should I use this pen?+

Step 1 — 5 unit test dose. Assess tolerance before going further.

Step 2 — 10 unit test dose. If the first was well tolerated.

Ongoing protocol — 15 units daily, five days on, two days off. Taken in the morning, ideally before a workout. That schedule makes one vial a 30-day supply.

Rotate injection sites and clean the site before each use. Follow your provider's direction if it differs.

Are there any side effects?+

Most people tolerate this well. Mild, short-lived effects may include a flushing or warm sensation from NAD+, temporary redness or tenderness at the injection site, or mild nausea if injected too quickly. Inject slowly — the flush is the most common report and it is dose-rate related. Contact your provider if you experience unusual or persistent symptoms.
